    Hi ww2nut, details are here;
    http://www.airfieldinformationexchan...ead.php?t=3415

    The website for the Airfield Research Group will be online within the next day or so.

    It is well worth joining, the Airfield Review "AR" is published quarterly for members.

    Back issues will be available soon as well.

    Ar 124 arrived today. The one thing that caught my eye was the request for help on page 88 for After the Battle's next volume on Fighter Command airfields.

    Now I know there will probably be one I can't wait but realise it is going to be a while before it gets to publication. Now I wish I didn't know

    PNK I think your missing the point here, and that is, why is a company like After the Battle having free advertising in Airfield Review? We are not a charity and when you think that production of the magazine exceeds membership fees and is therefore published at a loss and After the Battle is a profit-making company, then there is something seriously wrong. It will not happen again!! Rant over but the same rule will apply to any other publisher.

    I don't have a problem with publishers requesting info or advertising etc but from issue 125 onwards they can pay their way and the same goes for advertising on this forum.

    I assumed it was a paid for slot. Well, well. Still now you are in power eh!

    Does this apply to book reviews

    No off course not, book reviews are normally written by independent folk, and nothing to do with the book / author or publisher (except in my case, where I can write a glowing review of my own book) - but there are exceptions to every rule!! LOL!
