Just to the north of the Liver Building, close to where the floating roadway used to be. This used to rise and fall with the tide and was often used in off-loading aircraft for transportation to Speke for assembly and then delivery to Burtonwood, Warton etc. A colossal tonnage of bombs for the USAAF came through here as well. The plaque is sited on a wall outside the photo to the left of the P-47.
