The last four pictures are of the Torpedo Attack Trainer, two showing the target screen, one of the building and the other of the epidiascope. The steel ring seen on the floor in the foreground used to hang above which was the lighting effects gallery for projecting onto the screen various types of weather conditions, moonlit night, dusk and dawn etc. In the last pic you might just be able to see what looks like a chair hanging down. This was a gangway to the epidiascope which was used to change the ship model when a different class of target ship was required. The epidiascope was obviously hanging above which projected the ship image onto the screen. The Link Trainer was in the centre of the floor, done up to represent the Barracuda aircraft, both the epidiascope and the Link had their own crabs but these were joined together by a rack and pinion arrangement and mimiced what the Link was doiing in relation to the ship. The pilot flew the Link and the ship moved in a logical sense to it. The pilot fed data into the F Director computer and dropped his torpedo. At this point the ship image stopped, a white light was directed onto the screen (representing the track of the torpedo) and then the ship was set in motion again for the length of time that the torpedo would take to reach it, when everything stopped. Hopefully a hit was recorded.
