Just come back from a trip to Cambrai, Reims and Verdun..... The Verdun battlefield is the most depressing place I've ever been to. The bones of 130000 French and Germans lie here.
Me and my brother sank a few drinks after doing this battlefield. This is the Ossuary at Douamont.

A brilliant atmospheric pic as well. The grey moody skies loom over that breathtaking building quite fittingly i think.
