    Thanks, I do also have the "Salute the Soldier Week". They are both in pristine condition and measure 23ins by 14ins. Carl. I got them from an antiques fair in Llandudno perhaps 10 years ago.

    I discovered this while searching for any such Victory-Week Plaque in Oxford. As I couldn't find any report on this I will just have to call-in-there next week.

    This is the Salute the Soldier plaque (a half-size version). History unknown but will be bequeathed to the archives

    These two plaques that I photographed today have literally been right under my nose since this museum at Thame opened in 2005.

    Nice little display that. Shame most of these things either go unrecognised or (if you Google REALLY carefully) find out they're ticvked away in a museum store somewhere. Or worse....
