Yep that is the right place, I aasume you took these from your own helecop? or is this another example of armchair archaeology?
I use an old solid wood dining chair at my desk. More comfortable than cushioned ones
There is a lot more coverage on http://www.bing.com/maps. With the facility to zoom and change direction it is great if you haven't the time to get out and about. A lot of the old hangars have lost their sides and doors, could it be the scrap metal prices caused this?
Don't knock it Paul. It gives you field archaeologists some pointers. Think of it as unpaid research assistantsOriginally Posted by norwichpaul
Incidentally, can you give us an example of what was stored here?
Is there another place like this near Exeter? I recall having a poke around some *camp* about '77 & finding sheds/huts etc full of stuff. No one there, like they'd just walked away & left everything. I guess it could be Topsham, but I think there were more buildings?
