I called with the Lifeboat Crew at Donaghadee a couple of days ago and they also have a similar plaque from the Air Sea Rescue Unit.
I have a picture here if a display at Portaferry Lifeboat Station which was used by 56 Air Sea Rescue Unit of the Royal Air Force.
Other Northern Ireland based Air Sea Rescue Units of the Royal Air Force were at Donaghadee, Larne and Lough Foyle.
