Whilst looking at the GE 1945 layer I came across two Bombing Range related sites in the Exmouth area.

The first is an arrow which I suspect is related to one of the Teignmouth targets and the second (the circle) is a possible target for the Dawlish Warren range.

Teignmouth was a FAA range area with one live, two practice and an air to air range. The exact locations of these ranges and their buildings is not yet known.

The Dawlish Warren was down as ADGB (Air Defence of Great Britain) so may have been Fighter Command or 2TAF at some stage. Again details of quadrants etc is not confirmed.

Topsham also features in the top left of the Exmouth section of the 1945 layer.
