PNK, did you try and follow the link to play it in YouTube instead?
Embedded video can be troublesome.
When I try to play it Windows complains and tells me it wasn't expecting that error!

Anyone have the 104 Squadron ORB for 1962 to confirm a missile exchange on LE 28?

Ta Steve, that's the 1959-1960 ORB that I sent you a while back, it's the following ones that aren't yet downloadable I'm after.
All the best,
Paul
Yes, it refers to the LOX incident on Pad 28, so it may be relevant to that perhaps.
The Ludford LOX dump was on the 7th December 1960, with the LE being out of operation until February 1961.
The Airfield Focus book on Ludford mentions No.211 being demated from LE 28 and replaced by No.201 in July 1962.
I can't envisage any repairs being made to the pad (or missile) due to the LOX FUBAR with the round still in position. Anyway, we'll find the later ORBs and perhaps that will clarify.
I've checked my notes on the two ORBs and there is really nothing significant that I noted, but Missile 201 arrived at 1130hrs on 23 July '62. (LE28 was indeed where the LOX spill happened).
