    hi i hope this is ok seems as Raf riccall is in a nature reserve open to the public i found this a very intresting place and nicely undisturbed just been taken over by nature

    The last four (at least) images show extant SAA Stores (three) in the northern section of the original bomb store. I have them as AM Drawing 16075/40 Type F .

    Temporary Brick but with double thick brick walls to support the roof slab.

    The bomb dump at Riccall is in the hands of the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and enjoys statutory protection due to its National Nature Reserve designation. It's now known by it's older name of Skipwith Common (the name of the reserve). More info: Natural England.

    NJR and self were invited (as ARG reps) to the memorial dedication a while ago.
