    This is located on the former Aldermaston Airfield, inside the AWRE Site and is not even available for public viewing by appointment.

    The design on this memorial is based upon a sketch done by a glider pilot as they were getting into formation above the Aldermaston area. After the war the chap who sketched this worked for Walt Disney.
