I took these photos on Wednesday 30 March 2011. Apologies for the snow on one side of the memorial, it was frozen solid and I couldn't clear the plaques!
Second set of photos to follow.....

On the 332 Squadron plaque: Emil Samuelson, crashed at Matching Tye 1943 while flying on a test flight from North Weald. He still remains with his Spitfire aircraft under this barn. We tried to excavate this machine back in 1980 but failed to find it. We were looking just outside the crash site and recovered one very small part of a wing tip. It was then that we realised the barn had been built over the crash site.
