Brilliant - first documentation I've ever seen. What's the title of the AP ?
From the AP:
As this page is the most I have ever seen written about MFs, I figured that it's best shared.

Air Publication 4306A
Data Book of Ground Equipment Servicing. Think of it as a kind of catalogue of all the kit that came under our jurisdiction. No Goosenecks, Sodiums or Chance/Pundit lights in my CD copy though.
This is the first Ive ever heard of this type of lighting, despite being in the ATC trade. I wonder why they were got rid of?
Thanks Ossie, That's made Carnaby happy!
The Databook of Ground Equipment was still in service when I left in 1970. Does your version include Bomb Trolleys?
I think the databook is still current (I last used one for real in 1986) adding and removing kit on introduction and on reaching obsolescence. Yes, bomb trolleys are in it, well, some anyway, I was wondering if anyone was sufficiently interested! Expect an alphabets worth coming soon to the BT thread.
Thanks, it would help answer a few questions raised by others since your issue, even at a 1950s date, may still contain early Bomb Trolleys.
