ITALY - Foggia Airfield Complex

Hello Ronald!

I consider myself being micro league, actually. I am always happy about the challenge of identifying a new airfield anywhere, but my primary interest lies in French and German (especially German on French soil) airfields, and to a degree Belgium airfields. I am surprised you did not mention St Niklaas airfield on your site? yet it is one the few "original" German airfields left in Belgium (with Vlamertinge, Poperinge and Maldegem)...due to an impressive camouflage, if I may say so, so nobody suspects its presence

Hi JV,
As much as I'd like to, I do not have the time to research every country in depth. This summer I spent most of my time photographing (my other hobby), and the remainder on researching Foggia, with a lot of help of some kind people in the US. I will be spending more time on the site from October, it is in the cold and wet winter nights that I get most things done on this project. But I can use any help I can get, so if you have anything on St.Niklaas, feel free to mail me!

As for the exact location, with St Niklaas I made most of the work...But you may have fun and some degree of delight when you find it finally...
