Calveley
Called in at the former RAF. station at Calveley on Friday, near to Wardle in Cheshire.
Although I had gained permission from the Managing Agents of the site, to go on aznd photograph whatever I liked, afraid the Tenanat Farmer, was a total pain,. He has gated all the accesses to the site and made it very difficult indeed to get to the Watch Tower, Crash Tender Shed and all the other buildinds stall standing side by side.
Anyway, here's some of the shots I managed to get.
This is on the approach road to the site.

Opened 1942.
Closed 1946.

Accommodation :- Temporary.
hangars :- T1 - 1, 65' Blisters -4.
Compliment :- 1453 R.A.F. and W.A.A.F.
Affilated Airfields. Cranage & Wrexham ( Satellites )

This is as near as you can get to the complex, about half a mile away. Shot taken over the fields by telephoto lens, sorry I couldn't get any closer.
