This was the Savoy Hotel in Bayshill road Cheltenham. It also had another name before this one [ Montpellier Chapter] though I've forgotten now what that was.

Here's an SOE site from the Helford Estuary in Cornwall. They took over 3 houses by the river which were used as a base for their fishing boats running agents in and out of occupied France and collecting downed airmen from the resistance/escape routes. Please note - the 3 houses are private residences and there is no access.

Interesting set of pictures of Cheltenham but could you establish some context? I live in/around there for the best part of 23 years and while I know most of the buildings you show I have no idea what they were used for.
