This is the Corn Exchange Newbury where the Glenn Miller band played a concert for the 101st Airborne Division on 25 July 1944. One of my customers told me that went to a Glenn Miller concert there a few years ago. Despite the banner outside the entrance advertising 150 years of it's history there is absolutely nothing among the inside display that mentions Glenn Miller, and no kind of plaque. A big disappointment and disgrace.
