Tried again yesterday - still no confirmation, and not in junk. Haven't had this type of problem with any other sites. Is this why so few have voted?

More than likely. I must admit i found it to be a bit of a pain to be honest as well.

A big thank you to the 62 supporters who were able to steer their way through the online voting process, which I must admit wasn't the easiest - I would have prefered one 'Click' button to vote and then go.

Unfortunately our 62 votes were not sufficient compared to one 'inner-city' project that attracted 190+ votes.

Oh well, it was worth a try and we now can concentrate on other fund-raising activities. The A46 sponsored walk money is still coming in and at least we are able to get Barclays Bank to double-the-amount via their community programme.
