I finally managed to get hold of a copy of Night Bombers on DVD & it was absolutely fascinating, recommend to anybody who hasn't had the chance to see it!

It took about a month to arrive as i think its quite hard to find nowadays, but it was only £6.99 so a bit of a bargain

I paid £49.00 for the VHS tape when it was released many years ago. I thought it would be a one off and I must have it!

The VHS tape came out in 1982 i first saw it for sale at an air display up at Binbrook. To day most decent model shops will have a copy & quit a few aircrft museums also stock it . Its still brilliant to watch even after all these years .

I've been told by several local people that Hemswell used to have traffic lights for the runway that came close to the A631...can anyone on here shed anymore information?

As the main runway, 17/35 ended just 250 feet from the A631, I would have thought that traffic lights were essential.
