    thanks PJH, Stew pond is the illkle one to the north of the main lake in front of the abbey, as far as i remember there is only one building in that area by the old sewage works, it was set back against the hedge line by the tree avenue.....



    looking at FE its still there.

    The Stew Pond. I remember fishing a rather bedragled Moth out of that one August weekend!

    I vaguely remember attending a DH Moth meet at the Abbey, must have been best part of 20 years ago I think.

    I have fired off an email to the guys at the Woburn Heritage Centre to see if they can help with the location.
