Regrettably the excellent pub sign (above) was removed during a pub revamp, but was rescued (from a skip I was told !) and now lives in the RAF Grimsby section of the nearby Waltham Windmill Rural Museum. This museum has a room full of RAF Grimsby artifacts and a large tabletop model of the airfield
The pub itself has a number of pictures of RAF Grimsby, its aircraft and crews on the walls and also a model of J-Jug on its dispersal.
This is a 'gastro' pub and they do an acceptable carvery, so you can combine your visit with a nosebag
