    In his book some of Dobinson's diagrams are based on Air Ministry Drawings with a CTD prefix . Perhaps Carnaby or norwichpaul know more ?

    Dobinson also has Hilbre Island (Dee Estuary) down as Hilber Island, should anyone try to find it!

    What would you define as real? They certainly attracted some bombs.

    An area designed to fool the enemy into thinking they've found their target and dropping their bombs where minimum damage will be done.

    Decoys were built for airfields, factories, docks, towns and other strategic locations. Lots of good reports and info within this section of the bulletin board.
