Lancaster Propeller blade/s?

I am looking into the possibility of establishing a small memorial which would represent the loss of a RAF Lancaster and its' crew here in Colchester. If anyone can offer any leads on obtaining a propeller blade - condition obvioulsy not important - then could they contact me.

I suggest you contact the British Aviation Archaeological Council , see here ; http://www.aviationarchaeology.org.uk/index.htm who may be able to help ? There are certainly active 'wreckology' groups in your area who may be able to help but in the first instance I suggest to contact the BAAC secretary Dave Stubley via the website . Good luck and let us know how you get on ?

The memorial would be sited just off the A12 near the Ardleigh interchange if that's what you meant. If you meant where do I live then it's near the main hospital in Colchester.

Stan, I have just had an email from Fred Pearce of the Fenland & West Norfolk Aviation Museum saying they may have one in store. Can you make contact with them. http://fawnaps.webs.com/

If they don't then it might be worth trying other museums.
