From record recently recieved from the USAF archives it appears thathe East Hatley bombing range had concentric circles as a target, similar to those visible at Quarrendon in the 1945 GE layer. A combination of written information and an aerial photo imply that Ashton and Ducks Hall had 20ft squares of concrete or chalk. Has anyone come across any references to the type of target used by the USAAF in the UK? I assume that when they used an existing range the RAF style target is retained.
