Default Information on Aviation Memorials in Northern France

I am looking for some advice on the location of aviation memorials in northern France.

My wife has arranged a trip to the Normandy Beaches in mid August. A fantastic trip with well planned out itinerary which includes one day to visit sites of my choosing before a last night in Bayeux and a leisurely drive back to Calais.

I am aware of one or two Advanced Landing Ground plaques and the Caen RAF Memorial but would very much welcome advice on memorials, particularly to crews of individual aircraft, both in the area of the invasion beaches and close to the route back to Calais.

    Suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi Scout Man, everything you need on French Memorials is on Aerosteles:

There is even a google earth kml file that you can download to pinpoint them all.

    Hope this helps
