If i am correct 106 sqd never flew from Elsham Walds during the second world war .
AS far as i know 106 spent most of its time at Methringham .

I'm sure that you are 'correct' there Bomber. Checking through my Action Station's book for Lincolnshire I can find no mention of 106 sqdn flying from Elsham Wolds. As you say they were at Metheringham the whole time, as were 103 sqdn at Elsham, from the opening in 1941 to 1945.

Thanks airfields man i have re cheked 106 sqd & forgot to mention when it was at Syerston when Guy Gibson flew with it
Im wondering weather who ever wrote the article actualy meant 103 sqd .
