The buildings in the middle of the site are the pig farm and the furthest west of them is the Hangar used by Maurice Hammond Owner of Hardwick Warbirds who amongst others has" Marinell" and "Janie" both wonderful examples of P51 Mustangs.
I came across a reference to an unfinished rocket test site (1960s) located at TM265905 which puts in here directly to the east of RAF Hardwick WW2 airfield.

Looking at the area I see a very nice concrete road running north south then directly west providing two exits/entrances. The buildings in the centre of the site (not Airfield Farm) look to be in very nice condition.
It is quite likely that this was a dispersed site for the airfield to the west and was re-devleoped post-war.
What can you Norfolk based sleuths tell me?

Thanks tarkey; what a let-down. That explains the shiny buildings. But, there's no smoke without fire so I shall dig deeper.
Was this one of the sites earmarked to be a Blue Streak missile silo?
