Disused Airfields

Hi all,
New to the Forum.
This may have been discussed elsewhere on the Forum (unfortunately I couldn't find anything relevant), so I wondered if someone could point me in the right direction.
Does anyone know if there is a list of all disused airfields (i.e. airfields that have succumbed to nature/agriculture and are no longer used as airfields, industrial estates or race tracks) in the UK? Would be interesting to know.

If you use Google you will find a number of lists of UK airfields(over 1000 airfields listed). You will need to go through the lists and check out which are abandoned, disused etc. Be aware some "disused" may still be active in other ways such as being in use by the Army,having private strips on part of the old airfield or in use as car testing tracks or other non-aviation uses.

Thankfully an airfield isn't totally dead and gone until the land has been completely cleared another use(such as building).
