yes the Vickers Windsor was one of the projects for the VHB airfields but on its cancellation, there was only the Lincoln which was not suitable for the standard transportable hangar and there was never a VHB hangar as such.

As a follow-up, there are three B-29s clearly visible parked outside the two northeastern hangars at Marham on the Norfolk Council historical aerial photo website, with possibly another one on the dispersals in front of the hangar arc among the Lancasters.

Another interesting snippet about a B29 in 1944.

I have so many good memories of Horsham St. Faith airfield, the people and the planes. When the B29 Superfortress visited England in March 1944 it spent several days at Horsham and I can recall being one of the favoured few who was able to climb inside the aircraft and look around it – even had a ride on the trolley down to the tail.
