Q: Other comments about any aspects of the forum. (ideas, suggestions, tech issues etc)
I would like to see AiX grow in keeping with the growth in interests of its members. It is not OK as it is, it is not too narrow, it is not to broad.

A brief guide to the current accessibility of current and most especially former airfields.

I do wish topics wouldn't vanish after I've posted on them !|But otherwise I think it's fine as it is. Any Forum is only as good as its contributors.

Nothing negative - it seems to work very well, and when the occasional hiccup occurs it gets sorted very quickly. Thanks!

I simply never tire of the forum, it is a friendly place, enough said

I think the overseas airfields section could be expanded ||Also I think a "Links" list would be a good idea, where members could post links to any and all sites that cover airfields - either s

just greatfull that it exists, a wierd and obscure facination with derelicton and presevation of places that the average Jo couldnt care less about, thank god for AIX, i am not alone in the universe!

I fully support your aims of preserving historical airfield data. Can get a little person-person rather than general/informative at times - most people aren't interested in cliquey banter grants expan

Need to be able to track threads easier . Not sure about the section headings - possibly merge some and ditch others .

Would be good if you could download a airfield location add on for Google earth and for sat navs.

One thing that would be of use is collaborative input where lists like the audits could be updated and amended rather than via posts. The audits are a valuable asset and it is easy for them to become

Whilst I have not actively participated as yet, now that I have unpacked my Coltishall archives I intend to make regular contribitions.

Im have only started using a computer this last year so i dont no how to use your site to send info so i have done this though richard flagg

The panel of emoticons for inserting inside a message has disappeared. Otherwise good as it is.

Keep going! As membership increases, more topics would be welcomed, partic on non-airfield sites, ranges, bomb stores, fuel depots, requisitioned buildings, airfields abroad etc

Station Histories relating to the buildings...more "then and now" comparisons.

The items on an airfield... would it be worth collating on say a quarterly basis to have a master document on that airfield to make reading easier?

I know many people are happy with the '5 pics only per post' but it annoys the hell out of me as i dont like having to keep making new chapters as it breaks up the flow especially if a user has posted

At the moment no. However, if interest in "overseas" airfields increases, perhaps a greater expansion in that area to attract more overseas visitors.

Although I am a 'senior', I accept that the younger generation with similar interests must be encouraged and allowed to have their say so I think that - where possible - group visits to airfields of i

Aviation Factories and their Defences

I wouldn't presume to be so forward.

Although it is a big task but a format like Paul Freemans is most inforamtive especially when trying to find an old airfield.

Interested to hear info on places I served at and on places I could visit in the future.

This is a great forum, and brilliant in that it includes N Ireland. Although I have not posted anything of interest, I am fascinated by the history and postings of others, and hope this forum will con

Perhaps a list of airfields with all related information would be a good collective.|

A link feature would be nice but hard to maintain. As it is an open forum I think its membership drives the storyline appropriately as is.

Other Forums keep changing layout/format I think this forum is easy to follow etc. pleae keep it as it is.

As a citizen from 'the Continent' I sometimes have the impression that most members are too much focused on the UK only and show little interest to the rest of the world . . .

Would greatly benefit from an online building drawings section

The forum is a platform for certain individuals to self publicise themselves and that puts me off joining.

Naturally an Aviation Archaeology section!
